Afternoon Drive
My, blue sky, wide and empty,
you give goodbye such grace,
could not comply to tempt me,
in my journey past this place.
Sun fades out your true might,
while sleek glades all repress,
you with your swimming blue sight,
allow few days redress.
I’ll drive by in a hurry
before my eyes consumed
take in this light with fury,
getting nowhere soon.
